The exact fit of the housing and the equal foot of the jigsaw generate low vibrations which makes cutting easier. The pendulum system in position "3" has the maximum deflection of the saw blade, which simplifies cutting along the straight line. In the '0' position, the saw blade moves almost vertically to facilitate circular cutting.
